On April 29, 2022, various National Government Agencies (NGAs) in Davao City including TESDA Davao City/Sur Provincial Office conducted Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan towards National Recovery with the theme “Pagbabago nang Mamamayan at Pamahalaan tungo sa Pagbangon, Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran” held at Toril Gym, Genaro Lao Street, Toril District, Davao City. The said program was spearheaded by PNP PRO 11 and DILG 11.
TESDA Davao City/Sur Provincial Office together with the Public TESDA Training Institutions (TTIs) and Private Technology Vocational Institutions (TVIs) participated in the said program. During the program, the following services were showcased by TESDA:
1. AGRIDOM SOLUTIONS CORP. – conducted skills demo on Agricultural Drone Operation Level II
2. Regional Training Center-Davao/Korea Philippines Vocational Training Center- conducted skills demo on Bartending NC II
3. Wangan National Agricultural School- conducted Ceremonial Releasing of Tool Kits on Agricultural Crops Production NC I
4. Provincial Training Center – Davao (Mintal) – established an Information booth
Furthermore, the caravan is a convergence program of all NGAs to address the needs and concerns of the citizens in Davao City. Thus, various programs and services are also provided during the said program.
